There are many different types of water damage situations, after a thunderstorm or large rainstorm you may encounter water damage in your house or property. If you have a carpet in your house water damage will affect the carpet if it got hit directly or near.

When the water has affected the carpet you can usually see water stains but if you cannot it would be wet and the water will seep into the padding of the carpet. If water damage has affected your carpet it would be best to get the damage restored and cleaned.
