This Thursday, the 116th U.S. Open will kick off at Oakmont Country Club in Pennsylvania. At SERVPRO of The Attleboros, we as an organization cannot wait to see the action unfold.
Regarded as the “oldest top-ranked golf course in the U.S.” this is the first time since 2007 that the event will be played at Oakmont. In that year, Angel Cabrera edged out Tiger Woods and Jim Furyk by one stroke, with a finishing four round score of 285 (+5).
This year, the entire golfing world is looking forward to seeing the potential rise of the “big three.” These names include last year’s champion, Jordan Spieth, Rory McIlroy, and Jason Day. Of course, the pure natural of golf and the competitive spirit that engulfs each and every professional makes it nearly impossible to predict a winner.
We would like to wish all of the competitors luck, and look forward to seeing who will be victorious!
